Born in 1947; Swiss citizen; lives in Nyon, Switzerland; Chartered Accountant Diploma from the Swiss Institute of Accounting & Tax Experts, Zurich, Switzerland and former Approved Banking Auditor by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA.
After various stays for linguistic purposes in different European countries, Pierre-Alain Bracher joined the Accounting Firm Deloitte AG, Zurich, in 1972 as junior accountant in the financial industry Group. He moved to Geneva in 1974 and became a partner at Deloitte AG from 1984 until 2007. Today, Pierre-Alain Bracher is member of the Board of Directors of J. Safra Holding AG, Banque J. Safra (Suisse) SA, Geneva, Royal Bank of Canada (Suisse) SA, Geneva, as well as RBC Investment Advisors SA, Geneva.
