Jacob J. Safra is currently responsible for the principal business activities of the Safra Group outside of Brazil. Jacob J. Safra was COO and subsequently CEO of Safra National Bank of New York, New York, USA from 1998 until 2005. He is a Board Member of Banque J. Safra (Suisse) SA, Geneva, since 2005, Vice-Chairman of Banque J.Safra (Monaco) SA, Monaco, since 2006 and Board Member and Vice-Chairman of J.Safra Holding AG since 2008. He also serves as a director of various entities of the Safra Group. He became Director of the Joseph Safra Foundation in 2002.
