Our investment process: structured and disciplined

The bank’s investment policy is implemented as part of the investment process. Our Investment Policy Committee, consisting of experts from throughout the bank and chaired by our Chief Investment Officer, establishes the bank’s investment policy every month. Based on this policy our fundamental and semi-quantitative asset management teams pursue a strict top-down investment process.

Semi-quantitative approaches

Within these approaches, the methodology is built around scorecards. These are detailed, multi-dimensional checklists and ranking tools that are used to evaluate a whole series of indicators, and then serve as a basis for making investment decisions.

Fundamental approaches

With the sustainable approach stocks are selected using not only financial criteria but also ecological and social criteria. In the thematic approach stock selection focuses on megatrends.
