Security

The E-Services of Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd should be simple, convenient and safe to use. In addition to technical measures provided in E-Services, the way you behave and the system you use is also critical.

To ensure the maximum level of security possible, you can do your part by observing the following simple rules.

Working securely with E-Services

Your system

  • Use a reliable computer with the latest security updates
  • Make sure you have the latest version of anti-virus software with automatic updates
  • Make sure you use an active firewall for protection

 

Safe conduct

  • Never open E-Mails whose origin is unknown and do not attempt to open any attached documents or embedded programs and links.
  • Never tell anyone your password. Even Sarasin employees will never ask you for your password. Make sure you keep your password protected at all times.
  • If you notice irregular activities or processes while using E-Services, please contact your advisor.

Monitoring/alerts

In E-Services, under the menu item <Alert – Overview> you can set up an alert via E-Mail or SMS to notify you of any changes in your account.

Beenden Sie Ihre E-Service-Sitzung immer mit der dafür vorgesehenen Funktion <Abmelden> und löschen Sie danach immer den Zwischenspeicher (Browser-Cache) Ihrer Internetsoftware.
