Ratings – How others rate our sustainability
Numerous organisations assess the sustainability credentials of Bank Sarasin. Our sustainable asset management, our environmental management as well as our sustainability reporting regularly receive top marks in these surveys.
Here is a brief summary of the latest ratings:

Every year the Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz assesses the annual reporting of the 250 biggest Swiss companies, along with a selection of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It not only studies the business side, but also the social and environmental aspects of corporate governance, with particular importance attached to the transparency and credibility of reporting. Compared to last year's survey Bank Sarasin dropped two places, but is still the best private bank, in 13th position overall.

| Inrate assessed the sustainability of Swiss listed companies for BILANZ. Among all evaluated Swiss banks, Bank Sarasin emerged as the winner in BILANZ magazine’s Sustainability Rating 2011 with a top score of 6. Including the insurance companies Bank Sarasin is – within the financial services sector – joint number one in Switzerland together with Swiss Re. Sarasin’s detailed sustainability reporting and the sensitivity of its personnel’s are highlighted. |

Sustainability rating of the independent agency oekom research: 'Prime Status' confirmed. Bank Sarasin was rated "very good" by the sustainability analysts at oekom research, a rating agency. In the latest ratings published in July 2011, Bank Sarasin once again scores well above the industry average. The high proportion of assets managed according to sustainability criteria was seen to be a particularly positive aspect. Special mention was made of Sarasin's detailed code of business conduct and the dedicated professional development program for employees, as well as the Bank's efficient use of natural resources.

In spring 2010 Swiss & Global Asset Management AG (formerly Julius Bär Asset Management) assessed the sustainable corporate management of Bank Sarasin, for the fifth consecutive year. Conclusion: The ranking of the Sarasin Group is significantly above the average of the selected peer group of 93 Swiss companies.

| November 2009 |
Bank Sarasin has been awarded top marks by the sustainability analysts at Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB). Bank Sarasin’s broad range of sustainability products is much better than the industry average. Analysts were particularly impressed by the fact that all asset management mandates have been switched to a sustainable investment style.

In the study "Sustainable investment and sustainability funds from the investor's perspective" published by Feri EuroRating Services AG, Bank Sarasin received top marks from fund investors. More than 550 experienced fund investors took part in the survey asking how they rate the quality of individual providers of investment funds.
